It's a time to pause and reflect on this new life that is about to come into the world and to document the deep love that you have for this child before you have even laid eyes on him. The images we create will not only bring back sweet memories for years to come, but they will be a way for you to show your child a glimpse of what you looked like when she was in your belly. Life goes by so quickly, and I promise you will not regret taking the time to capture this step in your journey to motherhood.

I recommend maternity sessions around 28-30 weeks. We can definitely chat about your situation to figure out a time that is best for you, though! First baby? Fourth baby? Expecting twins? These can all affect the perfect timing for your maternity session. For your safety, I do not schedule maternity sessions after your 34th week of pregnancy.
When is the best time for maternity photos?

Absolutely! I love capturing the entire family together, especially siblings with mama's baby bump!
Will my spouse and kids be included in the photos?

We'll help you dress for your session! After your session is booked, we'll give you tips on what looks best on camera and help you find the best gown to flatter your growing baby belly.
What should we wear?

The sooner the better! Because I book a limited number of clients each month, it's best to get on the schedule as soon as possible.
How far in advance should we book a maternity session?

We begin all portrait sessions about two hours before sunset during "golden hour" when the light is the dreamiest. The location of your session is up to you! I have several favorite locations, but I'm always up for something new, too!

Wardrobe Styling

On the day of your session, we'll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it's going to corporate. We'll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about two hours from start to finish.
The Session

About three weeks after your session, you can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
